Meet The Healing Touch Team
We are a team of compassionate and professional Board-Certified Healing Touch Practitioners who met while providing biofield therapy at Greenwich Hospital. Our combined ability and training include nursing, psychology, education, sound healing, life coaching, mindfulness, and other holistic healing modalities. We formed a team with the mission to extend the diverse benefits of Healing Touch to our community by serving individuals, nonprofits, and corporations.
Kathleen Bacchi, RN, CHTP
Kathleen is a Registered Nurse and Certified Healing Touch Practitioner. She has worked as a RN in Post Anesthesia Care Units and as the Integrative Medicine Coordinator at Greenwich Hospital. Her private practice, Core Star Healing, LLC, is located in Pound Ridge, NY, where she offers holistic wellness through heart-centered biofield therapy. She is a cofounder of the Healing Touch Team.
A lifelong activist, she brings outreach to marginalized communities by providing food, health care, and other supportive measures. Kathleen is a Parish Nurse, and is a medical mission volunteer with St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Gail Covney, CHTP
Gail is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner trained at Greenwich Hospital. She has been practicing Healing Touch, which is a proven bio-field therapy, since 2008. Her passion for Healing Touch began after personally experiencing the remarkable benefits of energy healing.
Gail participates in ongoing education collaboration with healthcare professionals and volunteers her services to support those in need. She is passionate about spreading awareness of Healing Touch and frequently conducts workshops and talks to educate others about this transformative healing modality.
Laura Petitt, CHTP
A Board-Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Laura was trained at Greenwich Hospital and has 7 years of Healing Touch experience. She has a master's in psychology, is a Certified Professional Life Coach, a Stephen Minister, and an avid athlete.
Laura works with trauma victims at a non-profit agency and has a private practice in Stamford, CT, where she provides resourceful and compassionate biofield energy healing. Her diverse experiences and training give her a unique ability to treat the whole person —psychologically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
